Sherlock’s best-friend-before-Watson, Billy The Skull

Well, this took longer than I thought.
Backstory: after Hearse aired on the BBC, @CameronYardeJnr sugggested a Molly spin-off called Molly Hooper Investigates. In my mind, this is what the opening would be like as an animated series. The music would be jaunty and sweet, the colours all pastels, and Louise Brealey’s voice would take you through a monologue about breakfast with Toby and suddenly…chopped ears.
Basically death and cotton candy. In addition to the Sherlock cast, there’ll be some new characters too, like Helen-Louise’s talking brain-in-a-jar. She’s a good listener.
Molly Hooper, the person who mattered the most: “How dare you throw away the beautiful gifts you were born with and how dare you betray the love of your friends. Say you’re sorry.”
You always feel it, Sherlock. But you don’t have to fear it. Pain… heartbreak… loss… death… it’s all good. It’s all good.
