Panjin Red Beach is located in the north east of Beijing and is appropriately called this due to the seaweed which turns to a bright red colour in Autumn. It has become known as the “home of the cranes” and is the home to 260 different types of birds, including the endangered Crown Canes and Blacak Beaked Gulls, and 399 different types of wild animals.

the remote, secluded and little known rice terraces of yuanyang county in china’s yunnan province were built by the hani people along the contours of ailao mountain range five hundred years ago. during the early spring season, the terraces, once planted, are irrigated with spring water from the forest above, reflecting sunlight to create these stain glass like landscapes. photos by jialiang gao, hai thinh, javarman, isabelle chauvel, chaluntorn preeyasombat and thierry bornier

Cloud Sea on Mount E‘mei, Sichuan, China. There are two famous site for viewing the cloud sea, one is Wanfo Top(万佛顶), the other is Golden Summit(金顶). Mount E’mei is one of the four most sacred buddhist places in China, and its scenery is gorgeous. If you have the chance to visit, mark my words, don’t mess with the monkeys. They are local bullies, lol. If they grab you or jump onto your head, just surrender all your snacks and you will be okay. Another thing that impressed me is the local rhizotomists, they hang themselves with a rope on vertical cliffs to collect precious Chinese herbs, with a sea of clouds flowing at their feet. Some tourists can’t help yelling, ” Take care! It’s dangerous!” And they would reply, “Thank you! I’ll be okay!”
